A note from Dr. Noah
As a Jacksonville native and a dad myself, my roots in this community run deep. I grew up in Fleming Island as the son and grandson of Navy veterans, and now my wife, Rory, and I are raising our own kids here by the beach. There's nowhere else we'd rather be.
I’ve practiced pediatric dentistry across the First Coast for the past five years, everywhere from Atlantic Beach to Orange Park. This has given me the privilege of meeting thousands of local families and their children. Those families didn't just inspire Swell Smiles. They showed us exactly what we were meant to build.
Swell Smiles Pediatric Dentistry is a practice where every family feels listened to, cared for, and given a first-class experience with the highest standard of care. Every family will be a neighbor, not a number, and we'll be with you for the long run. From your child's first tooth to the last one they lose, and everything in between.
Our doors are opening in early 2027, and we can't wait to become your family's new dental home.

Raised in Jacksonville
Thanks to the Navy, my family has called Jacksonville, FL home for decades. Growing up, I loved school, played club soccer, and spent every spare moment catching waves along the First Coast.

Graduated from the University of Florida
Following in the footsteps of my father, I attended UF for undergrad — Go Gators! It was there I received my degree in Nutritional Sciences and first taste of dental training. It's also where I discovered my love for leadership, serving as president of UF's student ambassadors (The Florida Cicerones).
Gainesville gave me the gift of lifelong education, friendships and best of all my wife, Rory. She's been by my side ever since.

Earned my Doctorate from Columbia University in NYC
I chose New York City for a reason. Columbia's dental program is one of the best in the world. I was honored to serve as class president throughout my time there and learn from some of my profession’s leading experts. Those years shaped how I think about care, precision, and what it means to truly advocate for a patient.

Found my calling in the Philippines
During my third year at Columbia, I joined a pediatric dental mission trip to the Philippines. Coming from a Filipino family myself, I met hundreds of children who looked just like me, but whose oral health outcomes were completely different. No access to care. No prevention. Just pain that could have been avoided. That trip changed everything and it’s why I chose to specialize in working with kids.

Served as Chief Resident at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital
At one of the country's top children's hospitals, I served as Chief Resident during the pandemic, navigating a level of uncertainty and pressure none of us trained for. It's where I learned that showing up with genuine warmth for a scared child, even on your hardest days, is the whole point.

Planted our roots and grew our family
New York gave us a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but we knew coming home to Florida was always part of the plan.
When we moved back, we welcomed our son and then our daughter, and I spent years practicing across Jacksonville. The more families I met, the more I knew exactly what I wanted to one day build for this community.
